Wedding videography is one of the best investments a couple can make for their special day. A professional wedding video is not just a recording of your wedding – it’s a cinematic telling of your incredible love story. A recent survey showed that 98% of brides that didn’t hire a wedding videographer regretted not making that investment. But budgets can be tough. To help you out, we've curated three packages that differ in length, style and price point, all of which can be customized to your specific wedding videography wants and needs. Regardless of package choice, each couple will receive their toasts and first dances edited in their entirety as well as all the raw uncut footage shot that day. Custom travel packages outside of the Chicagoland area are available upon request.
Trailer - $2,750
A 3-4 minute music video style edit that captures all the details and emotions from your wedding day. Your love story is creatively edited to the song of your choice. This edit is music heavy with a few snippets of meaningful words spoken that day. Toasts and first dances are also edited in their entirety but the ceremony only comes as raw footage.

Short Film - $3,250
The Short Film edit is unlike any of our other packages in that the 5-6 minute instrumental song is chosen by us. With this style edit the music takes a backseat and we rely more on dialogue and voiceovers to tell your love story. Additionally, toasts and dances are edited, but the ceremony only comes as raw footage.

Highlights - $3,750
A 9-10 minute music video style edit highlighting your wedding day. Like the Trailer, this edit is music heavy with a few snippets of meaningful words spoken that day. In addition to toasts and first dances being edited in their entirety, you also receive an edited ceremony as well as a 3-4 minute trailer. This package also includes a second videographer for a portion of the day.

Yay, we’re available! Now is the time to answer any questions you may have about our services. We can meet in person, chat on a Zoom call, or keep it simple over email. We’re here to help you choose a package that is perfect for you. To officially reserve the date, we require a signed contact and 50% deposit. The other half is due two weeks prior to the wedding date.

We’ve been doing this for awhile, so it’s safe to say that we have a unique perspective on planning a wedding. We’re happy to share all the tips and tricks we’ve learned along the way, whether it’s other vendor recommendations, helping you construct the perfect timeline or anything else, please know that we are here to help! Exactly 1 month prior to the big day, we‘ll send you a questionnaire to officially finalize all the details.

The big day has finally arrived! We like to show up around an hour or so before the bride is scheduled to put on her dress. During that time, we get to meet everyone, capture the details and tail end of hair/makeup, and of course fly our drone. We have a documentary style approach to filming weddings, preferring to capture moments as authentically as possible. We’re not too posey either and let the photographer handle all that stuff. While we capture all the big moments, we’re also keeping an eye out for those authentic candid moments. It’s our recommendation that we depart an hour or after the dance floor had opened up to guests. We come over to say goodbye, wish you well on that honeymoon and thank you for trusting us to be a part of your special day.

No later than 2 months after your wedding, you will receive a private link to all your videos. You receive lifetime access to a Netflix-style viewing experience with personalized menus, where you can also download your films, share them with friends, and stream on all your devices. A beautiful, consistent viewing experience no matter where you want to watch your film. Your wedding day has been preserved forever!
Premium Viewing Experience
Physical media such as DVDs, Blu-ray discs, and flash drives are dead; and they are no longer the viable way to view and share media. At Plan A, we provide our couples with a single, cloud-based platform to view, download, stream, store and future-proof their wedding videos, all from a single interface accessible for a lifetime. A Netflix-style viewing experience with personalized menus where you can also download your films, share them with friends, and stream on all your devices.
