Q: How long have you been in business?

A: Plan A was formed in 2011. In that time, we have shot over 200 weddings.

Q: Where are you located?

A: We are based out of the beautiful city of Chicago, IL in West Town.

Q: Do you travel?

A: Yes, please! Plan A has shot weddings in Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Iowa and Mexico. We love to travel and are more than happy to offer very reasonable travel rates.

Q: Who will my videographer(s) be?

A: Every video produced by Plan A is personally shot by owner and lead cinematographer Jon Romashko. When the package calls for it, other members of the Plan A team film as well, but Jon shoots every wedding. He also edits them!

Q: Are the packages customizable?

A: Yes. Let us know what you're thinking and we can make special arrangements. We encourage your help in the creative process and would love to hear your ideas. 

 

 

Q: Do I get to choose the music used in my video?

A: Yes and no. For our Trailer and Highlight Packages, we ask you for a list of song choices you would like to see used in the video, and we pick the ones we think work best with the footage. For the Short Film Package, we choose an instrumental song that goes well with the footage. 

Q: What is the turnaround time for my video?

A: Films are edited and presented online to the couple within 60 days of the wedding day, sometimes sooner. 

Q: What cameras do you use?

A: We’re always upgrading our equipment but as of 2018, we’re shooting with the Panasonic GH5 in 4K.

Q: How do I book?

A: Easy! To start the process, contact us by phone or email and we'll let you know if we're available on your wedding date. A signed contract and non-refundable 50% deposit reserves the date.
